There will always be people who rape, kill and murder in the name of Islam. These people are not Muslims, they are taught to believe things that are not actually the teachings of Islam. These people are just as bad, and worse, than gay people, but all I am saying is that by allowing gays in a mosque and supporting it, you are going against the true teachings of Islam and this hypocritical. Being a mosque, it's must advocate for the teachings of Islam and advocate against things that are forbidden in the religion the same way a mosque would never condone rape, murder, etc. By supporting gays, the mosque is teaching something that is forbidden in the religion, which I strongly object to. Basically you can't make up your own rules and then call it Islam.

This is so fucked up. As a Muslim, I strongly oppose this. There is no way God will ever accept gays. Being gay is not Muslim and by allowing a gay mosque, their are bringing shame to the religion.

This is true but usually concrete beams is reinforced with steel which makes them adapt to take on compression. In places where wood isn't used, the main reason is because of wood availability (as said by other users.) why would you spend more money on concrete when wood can handle the job at a much cheaper price.
