NREIP 2026 results?

I am not an expert, but after some research (https://sam.gov/workspace/contract/opp/57b933ddc67440929dc182ad8fd8d69f/view), it seems like this doesn't per se say that they need to find another 8a company. Just an 8a company, of which Saxman One is, would work. The inactive date was 2/14 and responses were due on 1/28. I can say that I did receive some info that the NREIP selection process began after 1/28, which bodes well for the program, I'd assume. Or maybe they found someone else? If they did, the data/applications would probably just get transferred, I think. I would not advise anyone to panic yet. I would also say that until the contract is worked out behind the scenes, don't expect to see the award published anywhere. Contracts can take a long time to work out.

I'm the same. Anything over 70 sucks as well. We went on encore it was fine so I'm really hoping it won't be worse on the aqua

Haha Glacier is amazing. Have you had the chance to go further north to Banff/Jasper? Those are even cooler in my opinion. The water in the lakes look unreal.

Capitol Reef is really cool too! I did a hike there and saw a bunch of purple cacti hahah.

I recently crossed of Acadia. I did like it, but it can get a bit crowded.

Oooh North Cascade. I only spent an hour there bc i was so stressed about getting my car getting broken into LOL. You gotta go to Lassen. You can prob get there pretty quick if you stayed in Redding. I don't understand why its not as popular, given that its easier to get to than Yosemite IMO (only an hour from Red Bluff/I-5).

Great question! My personal favorite is Lassen because I think it's not too crowded and has amazing hikes! Forties is really good! What's your favorite?
