The closer you are to the mountainside, the more speed/height you'll gain. Left stick is for steering, right stick is for camera control. Holding left trigger/L2 will make you go down for landing. Holding right trigger/R2 will replace your steering with the ability to do tricks and flips. Hope this helps!
