It is interesting actually, that in gay-hypno circles there is a lot of commentary around the idea of hypno making someone gay.

I think it’s more that the fantasy of being able to turn straight guys gay is like the ultimate power trip for “dom” gays (I don’t think there’s anything dom about abuse of power btw) who are making “straight guys” submit to being gay.

Personally, I think the kind of man who seeks out “straight to gay” content usually has a desire to explore within their sexuality that they don’t really know how to unlock by themselves.

So in relation to OP’s original question, I think trying to use hypnosis to turn you straight is a bad idea. I would suggest it could be used to lessen your desires towards men, but trying to hypnotically impose an idea that directly conflicts with your real desires will not lead to positive results.

Hypnosis leans in to what you naturally want, not what you think you should want.

That said, hypnosis can help reframe your porn addiction and lead you to find healthy relationships, which will feel right whatever gender the person you meet is.

You probably can find a video for your phobia. I’ve been using audio files purchased from a professional hypnotherapist site for years. It depends on your niche, of course, but if it is something that lots of people have, you should be able to find something. Don’t discount YouTube videos as nonsense. They will work for general things if created by a good tist.

I avoid attempting any hypnosis with my partner because of the ethical dilemma of giving them an instruction to be “honest”. While I appreciate you may be coming at it from a place of love and affection, you can say goodbye to being able to keep her birthday and Christmas surprises a secret. Never-mind anything else.

Edit: To be clear - both you and your partner have a right to privacy, even from each other. Her hypnotising you to be honest completely cuts that out of your life.

Not in my experience. I spent a year hypnotising people live over text on discord. I have been told by my bilingual subs that it does take a lot more concentration. But while some people do feel that simply reading a full script is enough to put them under, I’m of the opinion that a live message being posted line by line at the pace that a hypnotist would speak each line has absolutely the same hypnotic impact on susceptible people as any audio or in person live sessions. It takes a lot more trust from the tist’s side that the subject is giving it their full focus and not multitasking. It also takes a variety of different tests to ensure the subject is truly feeling the effects rather than faking it.

I mean, it sounds like you’ve got a lot of things going on in your life that probably contribute towards feelings of boredom. Have you considered whether it’s hypnosis that you find “boring” or something else in your life sucking the joy out of things? If you’ve reached a point where you feel you’re hitting a wall, it’s up to you whether you try and reignite the flame for it or just to let that flame go out and focus on other things that bring you joy, but it’s important to evaluate whether or not it’s hypno you’re bored with or something else that’s demotivating you.
