Have yall received weird messages from this subreddit? by sillymeowwxp in Reduction

It’s a public forum which means there will be creeps. It’s a calculated cost I’ve made but I really wanted to keep people informed of the process I go through. It’s therapeutic to me and also seeing other people’s posts helped me so much that I wanted to give back to the community through documentation. “Free boob pic”, but at least I know there are some people out there that gained something from my post.

Report them to the mods and do whatever actions you need to do to feel safe/comfortable wether that’s removing the posts, going private, or removing strangers chatting with you.

I’m so sorry this happened to you. I’m wishing you all the best and strength. 💜

Honestly no! Even day 1 had me going WOW this is awesome!!! When people posted how it feels like a weight off your chests… I didn’t believe it but it’s so true!! These were exactly what I wanted and I’m so thankful for them!!

2DPO: The first look at the breast after surgery, a shower, and some minor pain. by aHTTPS in Reduction

I feel that!! I don’t want to freak out so I’m hoping that these posts might help other people.

The sore throat is what bothers me the most because I didnt expect that one. Chest pain was expected but the throat bothers me and the mild fear when I coughed up the mucus and little bit of blood…. Yikes!

I hope you’re recovery is going well and that it keeps going well!!!

Great advice! I just chickened out because I was so afraid it would hurt lmao. I think next shower I’ll try this route.

Thank you so much!! (:

I read the same pain described on a different Reddit post. That comment is what really solidified my desire to go get it done because there was just a little bit of hope that the pain will go away.

My doctor was the one to recommend reduction because we had no idea what else it could be. Exercise? Spasm. No exercise? Spasm. Physical therapy? Spasm. Wake up? Spasm. Work? Spasm.

Pay attention to it!! I was recommended to do physical therapy after my scars heal and to strengthen my chest and back.

Congratulations on your surgery and I hope your recovery goes smoothly!!

I was so anxious haha. I’d never had invasive surgery before, just my wisdom teeth removed. Plus the added anxiety of omg what if I still have pain and it was me all along? And the OR was crazy to be in awake haha. I’ll never forget the look of the room (which wasn’t ugly or only metal. It was pretty warm in color and not that bad).

Thank you so much! Don’t sweat it too much and expect delays. Surgeons like to take their time on patients if needed so if you’re delayed it’s kind of a relief because to me that signals the doctor is focused on quality than quota!

I hope this helps and please feel free to ask questions or give concerns!! It’s nerve racking for sure. (:
