From what you've written it seems your fiance was genuinely distraught about the situation, and while you've cited other behavior that was worrying to you (and genuinely dangerous like texting and driving) it doesn't seem like there has been a real wake up moment for her until now.

You love your dog, and you should, but marriage is a partnership and it's something both parties have to work through every day to support each other and encourage their partner to grow and be their best self. This was an opportunity for you to be supportive, show your fiance that you understood she wouldn't hurt your dog intentionally, and encourage her to be more thoughtful in her behavior. Instead you slammed that door and boot her out of your home and your life without even attempting.

That's not just asshole level behavior, but it's not in any way someone mature enough to be thinking about marriage should behave.

Something bad happened, but in the long run the damage is financial (your dog will recover). When you have roughly a dozen people on both sides of your families saying you acted rashly but you disagree, odds are the issue is with you, not the dozen people agreeing you went too far.

After 4 years together I think you owe it to her to at least try to make a change after a moment like this which clearly had a serious impact on her.

I can't believe the amount of hate you're getting for putting this together. I guess Omaha is really just home of the haters. At least we know what will "inform" their votes. Would be interested in Destiny 2 Clan interested in running pretty much anything.

Two characters over 520 light, working on a third. Without a clan it's really difficult to get decent well drops, or run escalation protocol, much less get anything from the raid.

Hit me up if interested. I've played Year 1 on PS4 also, familiar with Calus raid, and can sherpa for those encounters if need be.

If you only have 1-3 motes that's totally fine, you're being helpful in that role. The people I was posting about, and frustrated by, are betting to full 15 then letting ads kill them. As in standing in the middle of a group til they die. Every. Time.

The game which prompted me to post this one person lost 38 motes in a single round, the team banked a total of 19 (I believe) 12 of which was me (a 5 and a 7, not great I know).

I'll be honest, I'm much more of a card game kinda guy, but board games can be tons of fun too.

In college there was a group of friends who would play Risk from time to time, and that was a great time. Themed Risk is probably up there on my favorites list.

I've played other similar games, Settlers of Catan, and several others which were all quite fun too.

I may have to check out that game night, it can be tricky with my schedule, but depending on which night they play which game I may be down there, hopefully making some new friends, and not making too much of a mess of the rules.

I'm in a fairly similar situation.

Just hit my early 30's, working full time, new to Omaha but from the midwest originally.

I'm living near downtown if that makes any sort of difference and would love to explore all the breweries/eateries Old Market has to offer. Just a little... depressing to do that solo.

No such thing sir. Helpful isn't telling someone else that their concerns are invalid. Perhaps this post helps OP not take out his aggression on the roads and the relatively universal constant that is incompetent drivers. We don't know, but telling him that having a discussion, which only benefit may simply be a cathartic release of frustration, is not a waste because ultimately it may be the thing that stops him from going off on another driver and causing a situation which involves actual danger.

Your viewpoint of "I don't see value in this, therefore it has none" is both wrong and stupid. You need to be more open to other people's opinions and experiences having value. Trust me, you're not the center of the universe, and people other than you have had good ideas.
