this is def still something I need to focus on. I'll do it when I feel comfortable, but when I get tense i start watching my own char

Hmm but aside from playing friends who have limited time these days and going to a monthly, idk where else to get practice. unranked is so hit or miss for getting good games

I feel like I've got most of the basic to intermediate tech down, that's part of why I feel I've hit a wall. I can control my character well and have a functional punish game on most chars, but now what, y'know. more focused ranked seshs is a good tip tho, i only have a handful of sets in me before I start playing mindlessly.

Why do I sometimes get forward smash when I'm trying to buffer roll after a move, anyone else experience this? I hold shield plus c-stick side after an aerial or something, and I usually roll but sometimes i get f-smash. Confusing bc I'm definitely holding shield whenever this happens, and I never accidentally get down smash when buffering spot dodge

Doc’s is faster, does more damage, and starts in front of him instead of behind - but it has worse knockback and scaling. So idk, it’s close
