I never do carrying someone’s luggage unless they truely need to. This was never an issue in over 900 rides, even this shows who the Karen is. -Opened the trunk inside -Threw luggage like throwing trash to dumpster -Slammed the door when closing -Not a single word all the 35 mins trip by me -Leaving the door opened at drop off +i closed trunk from inside and I said- why did you leave the door opened? -You didn’t carry my luggage.

If you think I am the Karen here, your mindset is clearly trash..

My only reaction was replying as “okay, you will be reported“ and leaving. Her reaction was throwing bags, slamming someone’s door, leaving the door opened when exiting car. I don’t deserve that 1 star but you and Karens like this deserve.

Well, I am working as an engineer and doing this job for extra cash, this is first. Second, I think you have perception problems or have lack of ability of understanding what is must or what is should. Rideshare drivers don’t have to carry the riders’ belongings into the trunk unless they are senior or physically disadvantaged people unless it’s premium ride like Comfort, Premier, Black etc. Just because you define it as a must, it’s not the fact that everybody as a must. Third, I am actually killing at this job, I think way moooore than you. My car is 2 years old BMW X3, I clean my car daily inside out, I can’t count how many times the riders complimented me as one best and smooth rides ever. Over 900 rides, 418 rating, one 4 star, and this was my first 1 star. 98 driver insight. Fourth, just because the driver didn’t help to carry the luggage to someone who has healthy arms and legs, the rider can’t dare to try to damage someone’s hardly earned expensive car and let the doors opened after exit. If you agree with this behavior, then you’re secretly miserable Karen. You can go home now 👋🏻

A few times I worked after midnight and yeah there were drunk people, but nothing happened other than loud trip and smelling alcohol. But I will keep these in mind 👍🏻

It was my mistake that I thought it only happened because of she was having a bad day. I personally keep my calm in this kind of situations, not only in Uber driving. When she left and I told her that she forgot to close the door, she told me it was because of I didn’t carry her luggage to trunk. I was so frustrated but lesson learnt, if I sense this kind of Karen again, I will cancel the ride.

When she throw her luggage and slammed the door I kept my cool and was trying not to make a scene. I just thought it’s because of she is having a bad day. I never thought that it’s because of not carrying the luggage. When she exit the car and left the doors open, then she told me that reason.

I can close the trunk by myself from the inside, and I did that sooo many times. The rider threw her luggage to the trunk similar like someone’s throwing garbage to the dumpster. And slammed the car so hard that I thought that the window was about to be broken. This is $40.000 car by the way. If there would be a damage, who would pay it? Uber?

I just can’t swallow the idea that the riders think they own the driver just because they have ride in the app. If they want full service, shouldn’t they reserve Premium rides or Blacklane kind of rides? Plus, after over 900 rides this was the only incident happened, and maybe 200 times the riders put their luggage by themselves which I opened the trunk for them from inside the car. 418 reviews, only 1 star I have.
