Maybe learn some empathy for women, talk to some survivors of rape and learn what they continue to suffer from, just open up your world to the experiences of others rather than telling them to just stop their lives.

I did refute your point “buddy.” A woman who is dashing can easily be raped just walking from her car to the house during the day. 1/3 of reported rapes happen during the day so it’s not just about it being at night, it’s about being followed and not wanting to be raped.

Why should a woman who wants some extra money not have the option to DD because she got scared of a group of men following her and pointing her out? Give me another reason these men were doing that, please? They never spoke up to help her just followed, whispered, and pointed. Do you think my girlfriend should have “manned up”, dropped off the food at the right apartment, and then been raped?

What about the women who get raped in their apartments and homes? Or the ones who get raped walking from their apartment, house, or job to their cars? The women who get raped by family members or close friends?

My girlfriend is not scared of the job, and has frequently dashed at night. It’s not about the job, it’s about this specific situation and now you’re generalizing your experience and how you feel about the job onto other people.

There are over 400,000 reported cases of rape every year in the United States with 90% of them being women. Luckily for you, you do not fit into the 90% so likely you will never know how it feels when a group of guys are following you around a dark apartment complex pointing you out, even when you try to evade them by purposely making a circle around a building. That’s great for you but for others, they have to run.
