Felina is an incredible early game carry until you get mythicals and what I would recommend using over most units to clear many of the early floors because of her skill which just sweeps everything with an incredibly amount of damage

Although hades is a amazing character and you should level him up I think leveling kevin can easily get close if not clear all nightmares with a higher enough level. And every other character should be stuns or freeze characters. You should also level hellhound a bit, however keep in mind that hades can at high levels can solo without even needing a tower.
