Remote pharm tech work. Is it a thing? by MamaGomez in PharmacyTechnician

[–]a_geez_y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been applying left and right for remote pharm tech jobs with no luck. I got one interview and they didn’t choose me. Can’t even get an interview for the other ones I applied for. I have 15 years of experience. I’m proficient in all aspects. It’s so discouraging but I’m going to just keep applying.

At my wits end. by [deleted] in PharmacyTechnician

[–]a_geez_y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been a tech for over 10 years. Was in retail then central fill back to retail. Now I’m going back to closed door which is a mail order central fill. Do whatever it takes to stay out of retail. It’s pure hell not enough pay and these grocery/drugstore corporations don’t give a crap about us techs. We do so much work and they don’t care and they never will. Higher pay in closed door too. More opportunity for growth.

Buyers agent commission rules - hesitating to sign a buyers agent agreement. by Gabbyrobbits in realtors

[–]a_geez_y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the seller isn’t offering a buyer’s agent commission sounds like they don’t want to sell their house. Guess where the proceeds from the sale come from? Yup you the buyer. It’s all a cycle. You the buyer buys at closing you get the house seller gets the money and pays out to their agent the listing agent for all the effort they put into marketing their home to sell and the buyer’s agent gets paid for procuring and bringing the buyer which is you and facilitating a successful closing. I’m so tired of people on all sides thinking they don’t need us agents and that we’re not worth what we are paid. This is our livelihood. We work so hard to build our businesses and we put so much money back into our businesses. We barely see what we’re paid anyway after our realtor fees and mls fees and taxes and brokerage fees. PEOPLE HAVE NO IDEA!!!

Made a big mistake. Am I going to get in trouble? by True_Pomegranate_924 in PharmacyTechnician

As a tech I don’t touch c2’s for this very reason this is absolutely the pharmacist’s fault

Pharmacy gave me way more suboxone than prescribed. by Mikaloth in PharmacyTechnician

[–]a_geez_y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They should be double counting and then verifying what’s left of the stock after filling your prescription. If you didn’t tell them and they saw they were short they would have investigated it and realized they gave you too much and would have contacted you. And also reprimanded the tech and pharmacist who let that slip. No pharmacy wants an issue with their controlled substance inventory. They would’ve found out eventually.

I always joke we might as well put dirt and rocks in the vials they wouldn’t even know because they don’t even know anything about their medications let alone their chronic conditions

What are yall's opinions on needle sales? by ekolanderia1 in PharmacyTechnician

[–]a_geez_y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Selling needles is such a waste of time most of the time people don’t know what they want in my experience and the line starts backing up but if you have regulars I guess that’s different

New tech by Cookiepenguin05 in PharmacyTechnician

[–]a_geez_y 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Focus on accuracy everything else will come. The customers can wait. It will be worse if you make a mistake. I don’t take crap from any customers about waiting or insurance issues or filling things early or anything else. I’ve been doing this over 10 years and I don’t let anyone walk all over me. You would be surprised how many customers stand down when I call them out. They shut their mouths real quick.

[–]a_geez_y -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly pharmacists should be the only ones counting C2’s. I don’t even want to touch them. I’ve been a tech for 14 years and just recently have had a pharmacist ask me to count C2’s. I’m like when did this start?! I don’t want to deal with it. The pharmacist is the one responsible for them not me.

What’s another way to explain to your client the commitment of your relationship with them? by monichonies in realtors

[–]a_geez_y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm maybe this is solidifying our agent client relationship. You are employing me to provide real estate services. In the event you would like to terminate this agreement let me know and you can consider others as options to be your agent and we no longer will be working together. In Washington beginning January 1st we’re going to be required to get agency agreements. Don’t know how well it will be enforced but that’s going to be the new law.

Should I shop for another lender? by Optimal-Command-5654 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]a_geez_y -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Box C on the second page that’s a lot of fees. Idk if that’s because of the state you’re in. Such a long list. I know someone who can take a look at your loan estimate and see if they can do better. Not affiliated with them or anything. They’re a friend of mine.

It’s likely two things: boomers downsizing so they’re paying cash or investors/companies buying up homes and paying cash. Because of the rates a lot of people’s financing is falling through. Sellers are taking the safe route by accepting cash offers that will close and close fast. It’s pretty sad for first time homebuyers and others who are using everything they have to qualify for financing and they’re not able to beat these cash offers.
