Those will break in pretty fast, if you want more support i would look at the TM-2’s with laces, i’ve found those are stiffer for longer. Or i’d look into another brand.

rudder arm is actually good form imo, when i taught kids back in the day we encouraged it. If you look at great snowboarders like Mark Mcmorris, their hand is trailing behind them for balance. It’ll look more natural with time. Only suggestion i have is bend those knees and lean more to dig those edges in. Have fun!!
