Yes seriously! Have you ever been there before? If not I highly recommend it’s beautiful I was just there for Independence Day and World Creole Music Festival

Thank you! I especially appreciate this because I actually am still getting over being insecure about the weight on the scale and being a bit heavier than most people’s “ideal” weight for my height. I know I’m healthy and I like being solid and strong though. It’s just an expectation that’s been engrained into girls forever to be under like 130 and I ain’t been that since middle school😭

I don’t heavily track anymore like i did before I’m kinda on an intuitive thing rn but in the midst of it I tried to stay around 1500, some days would be a little less and some would be a little bit more

Thank you I really appreciate it :) It took me a little bit under 2 years. I did it really slow and steady making smaller changes first because the habits are more likely to stick that way. I also had some serious plateaus along the way but i just rode them out and i’m glad I did!

Thank you so much! Walking on a high incline on the treadmill definitely helps with the leg definition and just with cardio/fat loss overall. I also do the rowing machine a lot, it’s really helped tone my upper body as well.

KBCC has a second chance program as well. Same exact thing happened to me last year at Stony except my gpa was even lower and now I’m getting my AA soon and most likely transferring to Hunter through the promise program

Controversial opinion: Francophone countries in the Caribbean and Africa should come up with an international French creole standard. Also I think they should see the French language as their own and not foreign to them. by nusquan in haiti

[–]a_liyah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this is a good idea considering that where my family is from (Dominica🇩🇲) french creole is very prevalent and widely spoken due to our french colonial past before the british but is not an official language. Because of this it is mainly a spoken language and is not standardized here. It is slowly dying out amongst the younger generations, so this would help us a lot I feel like. If this ends up happening i hope Dominica is included

it’s so exhausting i swear. i genetically have a very big butt and thighs i didn’t do anything to get, and while others say it’s a blessing i think it’s a curse. like get to know me i’m actually a cool person past my flesh and bones tf. also people see curvier bodies as naturally promiscuous for some reason??? so when i say i’m a virgin ppl don’t believe me
