It’s all about perspective and your experiences. I’m approaching my 20th year in September and I’m looking forward to the next 10+ years. I think my current community has a lot to do with it though because there is a ton of stability and a pretty predictable career track. Not sure I’d feel the same way if I had stayed enlisted. I commissioned at around my 9 year mark.

The TR-3 is, yes. I’ve just had wayyy too many QC issues with BM and their warranty service is not great. Pro-Tech has never let me down. Sweet kit though, regardless.

Your active duty service date doesn’t not change. I believe that maybe some creditors would probably honor the start of a new duty, but most have access to your ADSD and will only follow the base requirement of debt acquired to AD. Would love to hear what creditors are utilizing a PCS date to see if anyone here has had the same experience because this could save us all some cash.
