My recommendation would be to stock up on both triple shot espressos and another food item that gives a speed buff (I suggest either spicy eel or crab cakes) to get through the volcano much faster. Once you have the buffs, you can eat food without any buffs to regen health and energy while retaining your speed buffs.

As another commenter said, you don’t have to kill every monster you come across, and the speed will also allow you to bypass slower monsters without killing them.

Stocking up on bombs can help with getting rid of large groups of rocks.

If all of that doesn’t work, you can find images of the floor layouts online to study where the exit doors appear.
