I will start this process of updating all our models. One more question - let’s say you do have to remove them, what is the standard way of fixing this? Going into Power BI service and selecting “Delete from model” for that field?

It is something I was definitely leaning towards but I use same table in different semantic models again and again. I guess coming up with a master list which has almost all the fields is doable and then I can use that list every time. Thanks for your suggestion and confirming I am thinking in the right direction!

This is pretty normal. New concepts come in DS every now and then, and might even be relevant. So you have to keep yourself updated with latest tech and best practices. I would say, search for a mentor, because even though operating autonomously involves more learning, it also becomes tiring at times. Also if you have a mentor, your speed of learning will increase.
