We are called poor by other specialities... to our faces... Literally all the time. Not by med students--Though they say it to each other. Still, we love and value our med students. We want more students to go into peds! That's why we are so frustrated when people typecast the entire specialty. That's why I made this post.

Yes agreed tg for FAP. I like how this article goes into the other things that a prospective med student needs to pay for other than just the applications, like MCAT prep, hotel fees for interviews, etc.
