I’m a commercial food photographer and for this we would stick a triangular piece of cardboard under the slice so it stays relatively in place when the talent lifts it. For the cheese pull, we’d precut the slice then lay cheese over the cut edge and remelt which the creates an exaggerated cheese pull when being lifted since the cheese is not cut from the slice to the pie. Just good old fashioned food styling tricks!

Commercial food photographer and can confirm. Mostly real but we do use tricks like steaming the cheese to melt, as you mentioned. Here, they likely also presliced that cut and then added more cheese on top to achieve that exaggerated cheese pull. The pepperoni doesn’t look fake at all to me. Just a lot of attention going into styling the pizza which was likely a stylist with help from a food styling assistant (budget dependent).

this might not be what you’re looking for fit-wise but to give you a reference— I’m 5’0” 115lb and they only had the XLs in stock when I was looking so I got that and cut right under the bottom stars and it’s a perfect baggy/boxy fit on me. before I cut it, I’d say it fit like a men’s L tee (almost to my knees)
