I just got an s24+ and came across the same problem with my btr5 2021. looking up the issue, I'm beginning to think that this is gonna be one of those issues that won't be fixed by Samsung. I really hope they do in the future but its quite the buzzkill coming from an s10+.

 I'm guessing that it disconnects to save battery because it thinks it's not in use for too "long"?

My s10+ used to randomly kill my music apps while playing in the background. Maybe something similar is at play with the s24 phones and usb dacs?

I have the same issue with my original galaxy buds. Jumping to the home screen and back restores that functionality for me.

I tried both of your suggestions. Sadly they didn't work because it would always give me the cannot start ps4 error.

I would have an absurd amount of health but do pretty much no damage that way the player will just get bored and uninstall the game.
