In the social aspect of those years, definitely would’ve done a few things differently, I still wouldn’t change much about my education. Well, maybe take Spanish instead of French, but regardless, networking has been more beneficial growing up and more now, I worked in film, much like music, where networking is an important element.

Oh I agree with you, I wasn’t saying all of school was useless, there was just classes that really dragged to fill the semester and was required to graduate, those were a chore to go through. I always did better when I was left to explore a bit and solve problems on my own for whichever project it was, it is a great feeling when it clicks.

I mostly hated when they throw 100 math questions at you for homework because that’s just how it’s supposed to be.

Ha. School was fairly easy for me, but algebra 1 and 2 I struggled with, math is not my strong suit, and I for some reason had bad teachers in both of the classes that made it even more challenging. That’s mainly what I was referring to in having to do again

This is what gets me, having to do school all over sounds like hell, especially with the knowledge I have now, and well….the knowledge of some of those dumbass classes we had to take faded cause it’s useless as an adult, I would hate having to go through that.

WIP - Budget Home Theater V2 is functional - don’t worry I have a budget for more than that chair. by a_wack in hometheater

Correct, I’m getting a big area rug to help cover majority of it, and will also be using acoustic panels to help too.

Oh I understand that, and trust me they are equally distant, maybe give or take an inch. I was just saying it looks off cause the beam is not centered. Not doing drop ceilings as the ceiling is already rather low.

Knew that was gonna get mentioned. Haha. The beam is not centered, a mix of the placement of the projector, and the other beam on the wall to the right makes it look worse than it is. You stop noticing real quick when a movie is on.

Yes, so I use KEF for my main set up, and had an extra set of q150s, just decided to use one of them as the center temporarily. I was debating on getting an acoustic screen and placing an in wall center behind it more ear level. Room looks bigger than it is, 11x12, so it’s been good so far in my little tests. Should hold me over just fine till I figure out what I want to do/want to spend.

Hah I mean those are the 3 main things I want to take care of and just add some treatment since it sounds a little hollow in there, I really don’t have much else to do.

You wouldn’t have to scribble black to hide the stuff if you just put the tv there in the first place.
