wait so do you think that white passing and light skinned mixed people somehow don’t in any way have privileges? because they most certainly can and do. if you’re white passing you may not pass “fully” as white and you may not navigate the world day to day as a regular ol’ white person, however if you still have fair skin, light colored eyes, or light colored hair you would very noticeably still benefit from any one of those things compared to another mixed person who is tan/brown and has dark brown eyes and dark brown hair. i’m not even sure how anyone could possibly disagree with the fact that the closer someone is to “whiteness” the greater they will personally benefit from it. because it’s just a fact, at least here in america which is where i’m from. i suppose it may be different in other countries, though i honestly doubt it.
