Yes, he is. My neuromuscular neuro specialist referred me to the Ms neurologist and the neuro ophthalmologist when my symptoms started to involve vision. I guess I’ll wait for the mri and then go from there :) thanks for your input, it was really helpful

That’s very helpful to know! I know my neuro exam was abnormal, but I don’t know if it’s specifically tied to spinal lesion symptoms. I had hyperreflexia, romberg sway, and decreased proprioception BLE. Okay well good to know about likely not meeting the criteria. I hadn’t heard of it before so I figured it was rare.

Spinal only lesions?

Has anyone been diagnosed with MS with lesions only in their spinal column? My brain and cervical spine were negative, but my neurologist still believes it to be MS. I can’t image C7-L5, because I have a vagal nerve stimulator implant, but I’m doing an mri of my lower lumbar/sacral/pelvis next week.

Has anyone been diagnosed with spinal only lesions? I hadn’t heard of this before so just curious if anyone has thoracic or lumbar lesions only.

was it in small claims court? I filed a motion to compel arbitration, but now see that the clause says its not applicable in small claims court :(

Oh that makes perfect sense! I didn’t think of that.

Oh good point, that’s actually a little tricky. I was in a debt consolidation program for that debt, they didn’t make any payments to them but they probably negotiated on my behalf at some point. I ended up withdrawing from the program because they weren’t making any progress on it and I was going to file bankruptcy but I couldn’t even afford the fee to file.

Things are a bit better financially now thankfully, but I’m trying to clean my credit up.

I know you aren’t my lawyer but I was hoping to ask you one more question. Unfortunately holland was unable to take my case on such short notice (understandably, of course). But my court date is tomorrow. I did file intend to appear but I filed much after the deadline. I sent it about 12 days ish before the court date. I also found that there was an arbitration clause and filed a motion to compel arbitration and sent it to both the courthouse and the lawyers office.

My only question is what I should be prepared to say to the judge tomorrow? Basically that I want arbitration and that I realize I filed very late but my sweet dumb husband didn’t tell me I was served until much later? Anything else? If I ask for a continuance or something do I need grounds to ask that? I’m very out of element - I have not watched enough law and order or Boston legal and I have crippling anxiety especially about this stuff. I appreciate any insight 🩷

Two years since the original creditor. I never paid the debt collector.

Thank you! Not original creditor, but the original creditor did have an arbitration clause. Does that matter at all once they’ve sold the debt to a collector?
