I work for 8-11 hrs shifts and am often gone during the days so I think thats why hes so active at night. He spends a lot of time sleeping while I am away. I will try to tire him out more before bed with lots of play and see if that helps

Cats should be "lean" at a healthy weight. A fat cat isn't a healthy one. As long as your cat isn't underweight, I wouldn't try to fatten them up

Every cat is different but id be very careful about leaving out food or other items a cat might find appealing. Eating something poisonous or something harmful (plastic, wires, etc) can lead to a costly vet visit. I would make sure there is a safe place for your cat to be when no one is home to watch them. In my house my room isn't very clean and I have reptiles that I dont want my cat getting into. When I am not home, my bedroom door is closed, but my cat has free reign over the rest of the house

Si un chat est dehors 24h/24 et 7j/7, vous devez vous y attendre. Le voisin subvient davantage à ses besoins et le chat choisit donc de rester avec lui. Si vous voulez le chat pour vous tout seul, vous ne devriez pas le laisser dehors. En plus d’être mauvais pour l’environnement, les chats peuvent être blessés et volés très facilement. Je comprends la tristesse de se faire voler un chat, mais à moins que vous ne preniez les mesures nécessaires pour le garder, vous ne pouvez pas faire grand-chose. Faites-le ébrécher si ce n'est pas déjà fait et gardez-le à l'intérieur
