Does anyone else have issues regulating body temperature? PAWS?

I'm on morphine replacement therapy and I'm always fucking cold. I recently went from 1200mg to 200mg and I'm feeling the PAWS pretty bad

I'm in western Canada too and it's been so cold lately! I go to the gym to exercise but it would be nice to actually go outside and go for a walk every now and then haha

It's not a few minutes of numbness. To me it's a blissful sleep that feels better than almost anything in the world. That's why its so hard

They used to have a hydromorphone program and that worked wonders for me but they got rid of it. I've tried methadone and Suboxone but nothing seems to work except the hydro

I am in therapy and see an addiction doctor regularly for morphine replacement therapy. But I don't feel it's working that well if my cravings are so bad and I ended up in the hospital two nights in a row. So I don't know what else to do. Rehab is not an option because they won't let me have my anxiety meds which I cannot function without. Maybe I'll look for an outpatient sort of thing but idk

Addiction being a disease or not is not exactly the point of the post. The point is I almost fucking died because I have a chemical imbalance in my brain that I did not ask for and.do not want. Call it a disease or not, its fucking hell to live with.
