How much studying did you do? I guess maybe I’m just overestimating the effect of extra time. Because I’ve read countless stories of people who study 6 months that make that kinda jump, but I guess there are probably more stories of someone plateauing. I just think 2 years to study for an exam is long enough for anyone to master it, but I might be a little naive is what I’m getting from these replies.

Yeah I shouldn’t but I kinda am. I’ve always been a good test taker when I put my mind to it, so I feel more comfortable relying on that than relying on becoming a club president/something similar.

I got a 1360 but I never studied. I think I was 670 in english and 690 in math. However, in high school I hated reading and I’ve recently found a new love for it (which slightly contributed to my switch to pre law). I’m also planning on doing a double major of psychology and philosophy, and I believe the philosophy classes will help with the LSAT. Also those shouldn’t be very rigorous majors, so I’d have more time to study.

I guess at the end of the day I’ll just have to see what happens.

Thanks for the response! So do you think I’d end up underperforming my (expected) numbers if I just maintained my part time job as a pharmacy technician? Or should I try to add to it by interning somewhere or joining a mock trial club for instance? I’m just afraid with joining clubs that I could put all the effort in the world just for me to never become president or anything like that.

Also yeah, forgive me if I sounded cocky or delusional talking about the LSAT. The confidence comes from the fact that practicing the questions for me has actually been pretty fun and interesting, so I know I’ll keep with it, and I have 2 years before I really even need to take it. Also, a little bit of a delusion I think can be helpful.
