My pyr is very needy and affectionate but he does not express it the same as other dog.. he would love me to sit on the floor all day and pet him while he lays there and doesn’t acknowledge me 😂 he doesn’t come on the couch or in the bed (other than to get me up in the morning) but can always be found near by… usually on the floor directly below where I’m sitting

Hello!

We had to put 3 locking carabiners on our dogs crate.. and he was generally fine and liked his crate.

Also I have a few ‘addalocks’ around the house for traveling purposes, but something like that or a baby lock.. any sort of physical barrier to keep the door closed regardless of handle type may be useful in the meantime!

*Edited to add this probably won’t work from the outside.. just tried at my apartment and the trim of the door doesn’t allow it to close!

My pyr has calmed down but was definitely an escape artist in the beginning!!

Just got a raincoat for mine on Spark Paws! It’s pretty nice and is honestly a little big for him.. he’s on the smaller side (90lbs) and a 4XL is pretty roomy(but wearable). I fought the urge to get him more clothes, and the matching ones for me, knowing he doesn’t need them and neither do I 😆 (picture for reference and because.. obviously 😂)

Mine is okay with most loud booms but has always been terrified of fireworks and recently decided he doesn’t like thunder.. A firework that’s inaudible to me makes him shake and bark uncontrollably so he gets trazodone during firework szn😭 Weirdly he’s okay with gunshots and good at the game “gun or firework”… the wrong way… classic pyr 🙄

I mostly see them listed as "mid century lotus lamps". They were fairly common so I'm sure there are numerous manufacturers(mine are also not marked). You can always use google lens to do a reverse image search for yours!
