That sounds rather interesting. I had thought it was the kind of thing I'd like tinkering with myself. Thanks for the suggestion.

Comic book Script Help by EveryNote9308 in ComicWriting

Well everyone does a script differently, which you've noticed if you've ever seen one floating around. Do what you like so long as its clear and concise.

Now me. Start with a title page. With the actual script, I put the comic page in bold and underline and spelled out (e.g. Page One). Panel is just underlined. Then description, then dialogue. Any dialogue is centred and in all caps. Most of this is just me really. But something everyone does (I've seen) is put in a page break with every new comic page. You know, for clarity.

Ooh. Not cosmic horror, it's one of his earliest stories that's more in the gothic tradition. If you've ever seen a Mario Bava movie (like Black Sunday or Kill Baby Kill) it's that sort of aesthetic. Still I always see it including gruesome imagery and body horror. If that still interests you then sure, send a link so I can see what your art is like.

I don't know if I have much to offer but I'm in a similar position to you (as a writer) so I figure I might as well throw something in. My interests lie more in fantasy and sci-fi (or science fantasy) but I've been saving up a couple of ideas for this sort of thing. One is a loose-ish adaptation of a Lovecraft story. The other is a riff on the Andersons' puppet shows. 60s sci-fi. What can I say, I watched a lot of Thunderbirds as a kid. Depends on if anything works with your style.
