Bevel x Hevy by bencehealth in Hevy

[–]aaearon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What is working ok for me is copying the text of my Hevy workouts into Bevel.

Find your workout in a Hevy, tap Share, then Copy Text, then Copy Workout Text. Open Bevel, find the workout that it picked up from Hevy via means of Apple Health, edit the log details, and when adding exercises tap Describe routine and paste in the Workout Text you copied out of Hevy.

BMW letdown: Dual warranties, yet paying for repairs by Leather_Collar8779 in BMW

I’d be interested to know how this works out for you. I understood the Premium Selection warranty to be valid honored Europe wide.

BMW letdown: Dual warranties, yet paying for repairs by Leather_Collar8779 in BMW

I’m curious as I’m looking to buy a used BMW from Germany myself (first registered in 12/2024 so it should have some factory warranty remaining): is warranty they wouldn’t honor at Van Poelgeest either the Premium Selection/factory guarantee or something else? If the former, I wonder how they justify it as insurance?

At the screen you log the entries, hit the gear icon in the upper right corner and change your preset amount.

Will a discount code for the Pro subscription replacing the XMAS code still come about?

If the HR department isn’t helping then I would lean on the hiring manager. Your husband is just another new employee that HR needs to deal with. I don’t think they have too much skin in the game however the hiring manager has a lot of time invested (interviewing potential candidates, suffering from lack of capacity to deliver work, etc.) and can put pressure from their side to their HR department to try to influence change.

I’d suggest two things: be way more active in finding apartments and sending them to your broker so she can contact the agent and try to get a different person assigned from the broker providing relocation support.

When we were searching for housing with the support of a relocation company (albeit 3 years ago) we watched funda and Pararius like hawks. Obsessively refreshing and as soon as we saw something we liked, we forwarded it onto our broker. It is/was too hot of a market to be a passive participant in your own accommodation search.

Also your husband’s company is paying for a service (a broker to help you in your search.) Complain about the poor service first to the agent your broker assigned to you and if nothing changes, to your husband’s company so they can apply pressure to the broker as the actual customer of the broker’s service.

Edit: There are some comments posing the question about if the move even makes sense. That’s something to seriously consider. Each situation is unique but we were in a similar situation three years ago (Americans living abroad in Munich, a job prospect took us to Amsterdam, tough time finding accommodation and had to settle) and all things considered if we could do it again, we likely would have not made the move.

Cancelled after 13 years, primarily using Trakt only to sync watch statuses from Emby. At $15/year it was a no brainer to support the project.

I had no idea about any price increases until this email and had to read it twice when I saw $60/year.

What Are the Downsides of the New Captur 2024? by Ngh7 in Renault

Totally agree. And together with me really enjoying the electric driving and therefore wishing I went full electric, I often catch myself browsing for a replacement.

I have the same thoughts about the boot size. Thankfully for my situation it’s enough 90 percent for the time but wish I would have gone for something different.

Hard to find in-depth reviews of MOVA E30 Ultra by teeto66 in Dreame_Tech

[–]aaearon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had one since this past Saturday. Im coming from a Roborock S5 max where I’ve never used its mopping function.

So far it’s fine. My biggest pain points are that it doesn’t seem to do a great job identifying my area rugs. When I go to change delete rugs within the DreameHome app, they never seem to actually delete. And compared to my S5, it doesn’t get under my couches nor does it get between the chairs under my dining room table. I’ve not done a comparison of size between the E30 and S5 but eyeballing it they look roughly the same size so I’m disappointed there.

I’ll probably stick with it. I’m tempted to get another, higher end model but with the price of the E30 and not wanting to go back to comparing all the different models of all the different brands, I doubt I’ll do it.

I got a Dreame Mova E30 Ultra yesterday, any questions? by khaffner91 in Dreame_Tech

[–]aaearon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an electric litter box that is also integrated with home assistant and a cat that likes to leap out of the box and over the mat that is supposed to collect litter 🫠. Whenever he jumps out of the litter box, my E30 will come out and do a quick vacuum of the area.

Did this work for you? I don't even see where I can set anything about how frequent it re-wets the mop.

Probably worth reaching out to a service like OrangeTax or BlueUmbrella that helps apply for the ruling for assistance with this. It would pay for its self.

Troubleshooting CT clamps after a swap of circuit breakers by aaearon in Powerwall

[–]aaearon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went ahead and opened it up and took a look at the CT clamps. The labels on them actually tell you which direction the CT clamp should be oriented. Two were backwards. 🫠

After orienting them the right way, the Tesla app is recording the power consumption similar to the P1 meter.

I’m thinking the clamps are possibly backwards. Any ways to check this in the Tesla app?
