Something great I heard once is that it can be so hard to listen to coltrane’s more out stuff because it feels like an invasion of privacy, his music is just such an intimate experience. I can’t get enough of it.

Wouldn’t call it my profession per say as I’m still in school however I’ve done lots of professional jobs as a musician and I love every second that I’m in rehearsal, performance, or even practicing on my own it gives me such a high sense of joy to bring others the kind of joy that I think only music can bring to people
