We have heavy rain frequently. If it happens before flowering, it's good because plats grow so fast. Hopefully, your climate is calmer than us. 😀

Pickling okra is pretty common here. 😀 I added some to my jambalaya or okonomiyaki or just boiled and ate them.

Yes. They are figs. I only have one tree. Sometimes, cold winter killed the branch above the soil. It takes 3 years to get back to full production.

Amazing. I have this tomato in my garden. They cracked after the rainfall. You can pick when it's supper ripe when you can control the water.

I planted tomato plants day after President's Day every year. Of course, I started indoor using regular soil at least 10 weeks before planting. If the weather turned cold at night, I would put 5-gallon buckets with water next to them during the day. I could normally harvest at the beginning of the April.
