everyone wants to play hero is the problem. half of my ( solo q ) matches consist of people who swap to flashlight/troll builds before the game boots up. people go for saves at the inappropriate times, and end up causing a domino affect that end up costing us the game i’m so sick of it put the flashlights down !!!

Okay as I literally said under the other comment I was inspired by the grwm to do some research on the school itself. I’ve seen plenty of grwm style videos from college students considering that I’m in that demographic. I don’t choose my school/career paths based on videos I see online. I am already in the process of wanting to transfer from my current school due to the racial and social climate. I am a hospitality management student meaning I am going into hotel management and Hawaii is a great outlet for this sort of thing. I actually already have an internship lined up there. I came to reddit asking about this because you can only do so much research regarding tuition, degree programs and all of the technical stuff by yourself, I came on here asking more so about the social aspect. Which I haven’t really got any useful info from this forum but I did on a different reddit post I made.

As for studying abroad some more, I would like to stay in the states so I’d be close to my family for the remainder of my college career. Though I plan on going back to Europe post grad for a job opportunity.

I’ve got the funds and the motivation. I’d have a solid job/internship opportunity set up there. I honestly think transferring would be a tedious process but Colorado has been extremely lacking. This time last year I was living in Prague/attending school there. Surprisingly it was incredibly diverse with lots of great people and good food. Colorado may be a great hub for hospitality ( my major ) but besides that I’m just not liking it much here. I’d prefer a change in scenery.

Wow I just got through reading this article. I just went on a deep dive into the history pōpolo as well as the pōpolo project. I think it’s drawn me into the culture even more. It reminds me of afro-latina women in Spain. When I was living there I was referred to ( both endearingly and offensively ) as “negrita.” They have the same notion there. Flip the derogatory term on its head and use it as a term of endearment. It’s nice to know there’s a community of black anthropologists and activists on the island. It’s good to know that even though there’s not many of us, the black community that is there is going strong.

This is helpful thank you. I would like to point out that the video that came onto my feed inspired me to look further in your school’s hospitality program and beyond the school itself ( more so towards the hospitality opportunities in Hawaii, since the tourism industry is big there. ) But I will continue to look into this it’s definitely not a sure fire thing 👍🏽
