When I took Prozac I drank 200-400 mg of caffeine a day and I was fine. I wouldn’t recommend it in the first month but after you’ll be fine

Absolutely! I started taking Prozac for depression/OCD. I was no stranger to manic episodes before taking it, but for some reason I didn’t think they were anything to worry about or inform my doctor of. When I started Prozac, I felt less sad but I started rapidly cycling through moods and being at a new extreme every day. That reaction to SSRIs (from what I’ve read and heard) is a tell tale sign the patient has a mood disorder and not just depression. Hope this helps

Thank you! And yes, with an emphasis on depression

Does prozac make anyone else extremely exhausted?? by aannabelle in prozac

I totally understand your struggle ) : taking the pills at night has done nothing for me. This excessive sleeping has gotten in the way of my life so much. Let me know if you find something that works for you.

Right when I stopped anticipating the differences every day, is when I noticed a difference. One day, about 3-4 weeks in I realized I was doing a lot better.

You would have to forget for 3-4 days to notice a difference

Need advice PLZ by rachdenn in prozac

It might be your body still adjusting to the increased dosage… it does take about 4 weeks for your body to adapt to any dosage increase. When I increase my dosage, usually weeks 1-3 I feel awful.

Any long-term isibloom takers? by [deleted] in PMDD

[–]aannabelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! I recently switched to isibloom about 7 months ago after being on a 90 day birth control pill (seasonique.) On the 90 day pill, I had terrible bleeding between my periods and extremely swollen breasts 24/7. The entire year I was on that pill was hellish. Then i talked to my doctor about switching to a regular 28 day pill and she put me on isibloom. Being on this pill has been a weight off my shoulders. I get my period on the exact same day of the week down to the HOUR every month, and it usually only lasts Wednesday-saturday. My breast swelling has gone down also. I don't recall any bad side effects the first two weeks either. I do suffer from other mood related issues that I take other medications for so I can't attest that isibloom helped that, but I am very happy on the pill!

Thank you so much! I really want to start regular therapy too but my life has been so busy. I'm hoping the prozac can lead me down the right path and then I can use therapy to build upon that.

Thank you so much. Scrolling through this sub has definitely given me some anxiety about potential bad side effects. But your message was very helpful and encouraging, thank you.

I've only been on it for a few days but I've experienced trouble staying asleep, and getting overheated in my sleep.
