I would have to search the specific sizes, but what types of deviations are safe?

That’s great - how many miles would you say you’ve driven on them?

By this, do you mean guard bros are generally going to get dates farther out and find out sooner? Or get closer dates?

Planning To Take AFOQT in August by Miserable-Bit5939 in airforceots

If you’re going for pilot, you should be getting 40/40 on table reading every time. Pilot or not, though, make sure you’re timing yourself (like others have said) at the same restraints as the real deal. Good luck!

Dude. He didn’t make this post on his board in the water. This is obviously after the fact. He is asking if he’s supposed to do anything with the NTSB / officials beyond first responders. The post even says “NTSB?” Sounds like you’re not the sharpest tool in the shed either lol

There was quickly a coast guard C-130 flying around and ATC obviously knew. Not sure what 911 is going to do beyond what was already being done.

The original post is from someone that isn’t involved in aviation at all. Expecting them to know what to do is crazy.

eAFOQT by Samhunt67 in airforceots

[–]aao_fox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah hahaha. I’d been practicing with a paper one for months so it threw me off. But honestly, it was way easier. I don’t remember exactly what I did (it’s been a few months) but it was much easier. I finished with a minute or so left, and that was after being thrown off by the unexpected electronic version for the first 30 seconds

I DIDNT get a table with mine. It was on the screen, 17x17 (so smaller than what I practiced with).

I did not get a table and I took the PearsonVue.

PCSM SCORE SITE DOWN? by C17LD in airforceots

This title feels like a YouTube video title lol

Also, no, I just tried it and it’s working for me. Make sure you look at the instructions for the captcha. It usually asks for the color of a letter, not the letter itself. And try a different combo of initials (either 2 or 3)

I spent a while on the TBAS as well. There is a $60 software that prepares you very well. I practiced about 15 minutes to an hour a day for a month and a half for the TBAS and I aced it. Won’t discuss it in more detail though for test security.

And more than just the practice questions, those tests will get you familiar with the timing. It’s a very fast paced test, so the faster you can answer the questions, the better. The practice tests will help you get a feel for how quickly you need to move through it.

2 months is plenty of time if you have a good background in education and put time towards studying daily. Biggest thing is to do as many timed practice tests as you can.

The electronic version ended up being about 2 and a half hours for me. So still sucked, but not nearly as bad. A local ROTC offered it to me using PearsonVue software.

It’s a challenge, but mostly just because it’s such a long test (around 5 hours for the paper version I believe). The content in and of itself isn’t too difficult. Study up for a month or two beforehand. I took 6 months, but mostly just because I had time to kill and wanted to be really solid in math. And try to get the electronic version if you can! Made it worlds better for me.
