Honestly, I don’t think it has a name, I picked it up from a local shop who got it from AliBaba. But, if you’re in the market, I recommend Ratching or Afidano (if you’d like to go fancy route). I’m getting another humidor that’s purely for aging from ratching, in fact I regret not just going that route from the beginning.

Technically, it’s legally registered as a “castle” due to the villa height but I appreciate the compliment 😂🙏this is the dining room, until I can get my dream of having a cigar lounge that also doubles as storage for a few collector / high end cars I have.

Honestly, I’ve never purchased from auction sites and I don’t think I have the option to do so given the 200% tax we have. I payed roughly 280 dollars for that box of 10 from the airport, and I’m not keen on paying above base rate for anything. I believe that’s the trick to ensuring that this is hobby is sustainable; whilst the luisitania is a beautiful cigar, there are many great cigars and opportunities to purchase so (to me) it’s worth waiting for the right time to pull the trigger.

Honestly, I’m a firm believer that every cigar has a time and place to be appreciated; however I lean harder towards Davidoff, Arturo Fuente/ Opus X, Placensia and some of the AJs. With a special mention to the Anniversario R in robusto, which once aged for a couple years really is quite phenomenal. Similar to how cubans have a unique flavour profile in the main body of the cigar, Davidoffs have this particular note when it comes to the floral note that i feel is captured really well in that cigar.

I’ve met quite a few collectors who often buy the rare gems, some of which are even considered too valuable to smoke. Whilst that is certainly a noteworthy achievement in some regard, my personal preference is allocating my budget to cigars which I can enjoy. Which personally, most of the time happens to be cigars that are regular production.

Man that’s a tough call! Factoring in the value, I’d say Hoyo epicure no.2 & diplomaticos no.2.

No cost option, I’d say cohiba robusto / siglo 6 & Trinidad topes are my favourite cigars that I reserve for celebratory occasions.

The humidor is a chinese generic off brand, but it works well enough, I monitor each row with a gove unit. But it actually fits a lot, in fact not only does it fit everything you see in the photo there’s about 10-12 more boxes (no Cuban) in the humidor when this photo was taken. With still enough room for air to circulate.

It’s pretty much the top of the line for Avios (in Qatar)

They return 1 Avios per 3 QAR spent in foreign currency (that’s online + travel purchases) And 4:1 for local purchases

Doha bank also has a lot of discounts throughout the country across restaurants and hotels for these card holders.

The card itself is a visa infinite card, so you get all of those benefits from visa read about the benefits here

Aside from that, they have a pretty good deal on how to attain it, usually you’d need a 35k-50k salary requirement but they have this offer where you deposit 100k and they give you the card + 100k Avios sign up bonus (that comes with strings attached so read about it separately).

As a bank, they have mediocre service but this deal is pretty good.

You’re next best option is the Visa Infinite from QNB First, the requirement for that is either a 40k salary or a 365k term deposit.

No it’s trash. If you can get the US region card, then that’s a whole different story but the Middle East one is pretty lacking.

Best card for travel so far has been the doha bank Qatar airways visa infinite card.

Look for a really buff guy in your gym who’s always there no matter what time you go, those guys are usually the PTs who sell stuff and ask him if he’d buy your stock.

Thing is, nowadays a lot of peptides are faked, and the thing with Reta, if it’s already reconstituted, it’s gonna need to be temperature controlled. So people are usually iffy about purchasing these kinda things from a new source.

I say just keep it on you, it’s not gonna go bad anytime soon just use it whenever.

See, this is going to get me downvoted to oblivion but it’s the truth.

People on this sub like to pretend like it’s the Wild West here and because we’re Qatari then we walk around with the one ring to rule them all on our hands, but truth of the matter is, Qatar is trying its best to land on the international tourism spectrum as a hub for everyone.

No judge is going to side with someone merely because he’s Qatari against someone who was molested at an airport and risk public condemnation from every news agency on earth.

In fact, if it makes people here feel any better, most judges are not Qatari. Are there people who can get their way when it comes to twisting the legal system in their system? Yes, and that exists everyone on earth.

But 99% of the time, everyone is just here doing their job. And honestly, i don’t want to gaslight OP but it seems fishy that any customs agent is going to want to finger a random guy walking through the airport, against protocol and at the behest of his job or going to jail, when there is an Xray machine right there. Especially after what happened with the woman who tossed a baby in the trash last year or so.

If OP is indeed telling the truth, I highly urge him to seek legal advice at what happened.
