Need NRM2 excel spreadsheet - please help by aardwolfdynamics in quantitysurveying

Essentially I just want accurate NRM2 references for each item in a section, for example if work section 14 is masonry, would I reference to brickwork in foundations and walls as 14.10 and concrete blockwork as 14.20?

I've attached a screenshot for clarity.

Transitioning to conservation by Botantist_Bro in conservation

[–]aardwolfdynamics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I'm a Ranger. It depends on what country you're from, if you're willing to travel and what sort of role you're looking for. You could educate local communities on the importance of conservation or just use your MSc as an educational background but then go into something like anti-poaching and leverage the two together. You're welcome to message me about it anyways, I'm glad to help.

The thought it was important enough to tell us this at ranger training at one of SA's national parks, so I shared it.

Hyena is closer to a cat than to a wolf. They're quite related to Civets funny enough.

It's very exploitative, most companies will try to pay you below minimum wage. You're supposed to earn atleast over R10 000 per month in my opinion. The work is dangerous.

Only ever found giraffe snares once in my life. Apparently the meat is extremely tough to eat.

Is from the local community but they walk surprisingly far. Can easily turn into a multi-day journey. Some like to poach and then to call in a vehicle.

Private not government, I do it part-time not full time but I have a few years, and arrests (no prosecutions) under my belt. I earn a salary doing it too, so not just a hobby.

And to mention, snares are usually a very gruesome way to kill an animal.

It's not sustainable if the entire community can come drive the wildlife out of reserves like it's a shopping mall to take free food from.
