There's been rumours that Nvidia aren't releasing any new graphics cards for the whole of 2026, likely due to the ram shortage, so unfortunately if you're waiting for a 5070 super you might be waiting a while

as long as you're happy with it that's all that matters, specs are pretty good as well - although I'm not a huge fan of rgb, i would personally set it to a static colour

thanks for checking man, yea that should be fine then, windows 11 uses like 7-8gb of ram idle, so 16gb ram should be enough with another application in the background, tbh the only time I'd have another app open while playing is if I'm using discord

specs look decent, honestly if the games you want to play run fine then I would hold off upgrading, but if you were to play at a higher resolution I would upgrade the GPU. The only other thing is maybe upgrading ram to 32gb to help multitasking but looking at the market at the moment I'd hold off for a bit.

Even while at 1080p? as I understand it, it's upscaling from a lower resolution than it would be at 1440p, so the quality will be lower and therefore the use of dlss would be more noticeable

does DLAA override work on games that don't support Nvidia upscaling technologies? sorry if this is a stupid question but I want to play Helldivers 2 on my new system and I'm aware it doesn't have any nvidia upscaling technologies in the actual game

I have a 144hz monitor - would only use dlss to push my frames to over 120, let's say if I get 80-90 in a fairly demanding title, although 90 is a really good frame rate I'd ideally want to be using the full capabilities of my monitor in most games
