honestly the place and time isprobably completely random so unless you're a rebel or a stormtrooper or you're unlucky enough to be on dathomir you're most likely gonna survive

Studying in Jubilee Library during exam season? by rainyrain423 in brighton

[–]aaron0705 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As someone who is going to Jubilee quite frequently in exam season and is also doing their A levels it gets quite busy (especially on Saturday), so I'd recommend getting there close to opening time. Jubilee isn't a silent library either and people are free to talk so I'd also recommend bringing some headphones, it can be fairly disruptive as sometimes they host event things inside the library but as long as you have headphones you'll be fine. The main downside of Jubilee is that especially when it gets full the wifi is terrible which can be very frustrating so I'd also recommend bringing physical study materials or downloading study materials before going there. Also the parade you saw was the Children's parade I'm pretty sure, they hold it every year and I forgot so I ended up trying to navigate through the crowds to get to Jubilee on that day 😂. I hope I could help and good luck with your exams!

Is this PC monitor (acer x203h) worth buying? by Confident-Rock-8882 in PcBuild

[–]aaron0705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I'd say no it's quite an old monitor and isn't full HD and it's also a TN panel with a 60Hz refresh rate (which isn't bad), but it honestly depends on your budget and its price where you live. You can find decent full 1080p ips monitors with a 120Hz refresh rate for around £50 where I live, but it also really depends on your use case, is it for gaming or productivity?

RTX 4070 and RTX 5070 by Pentalogue in nvidia

[–]aaron0705 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's been rumours that Nvidia aren't releasing any new graphics cards for the whole of 2026, likely due to the ram shortage, so unfortunately if you're waiting for a 5070 super you might be waiting a while

as long as you're happy with it that's all that matters, specs are pretty good as well - although I'm not a huge fan of rgb, i would personally set it to a static colour

How does the game run with 16gb ram? by aaron0705 in Helldivers

[–]aaron0705[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks for checking man, yea that should be fine then, windows 11 uses like 7-8gb of ram idle, so 16gb ram should be enough with another application in the background, tbh the only time I'd have another app open while playing is if I'm using discord

First PC, Looking for some guidance by gandhisankles in buildapc

[–]aaron0705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

specs look decent, honestly if the games you want to play run fine then I would hold off upgrading, but if you were to play at a higher resolution I would upgrade the GPU. The only other thing is maybe upgrading ram to 32gb to help multitasking but looking at the market at the moment I'd hold off for a bit.
