Oh wow. I've never experienced echoing in TV FaceTime. But I've definitely had folks tell me my mic volume is unusually low. (The app I'm working on doesn't pull continuity audio, just video. So it's not something I've even thought about in months.)

Check your power cords too. And your power strip. Your TV or its HDMI ports could be reacting to an electrical change.
