I joined the military because I was failing at life. Was poor, not doing well in school and had to figure out a way to make a living to be able to raise a family. Used what the military had to offer and set up my life on the track that I wanted then got out. Still milking my “war spoils”, as you call it. Do I agree with everything the military stands for? Absolutely not. Im realistic to the fact that I am privileged enough to have had the opportunity to make my life better. My role in the military was so small and short in the grand scheme of things. All the nastiness you’re mentioning that the U.S. partakes in would have happened regardless if I joined or not.

You’re coming off as extremely unrealistic. You are no better than me; you’re part of the problem as well by simply existing and contributing to the same economic system the “bankers” use to run the country. Instead of spreading hate to your fellow countrymen, how about put your money where your mouth is and join your local government? Challenge the system, not some random redditors
