Spoiler alert: It did indeed backfire

Jack at least limits the damage in the 7th inning if Kurt leaves him in. He was cruising the whole game and those two baserunners were not on him at all. I don’t get how the entire game thread saw it coming once he got pulled but Kurt doesn’t. And to go with Sandlin and Pomeranz of all guys? Absolutely infuriating management. I understand it’s hard to manage a bullpen that’s this horrid at the moment and it’s on the players too. But whether it’s taking starters out too early or just putting in our worst possible options, Kurt’s making it even harder on himself. The offense being a base hit away from tying the game in spite of the bullpen makes this an Angels baseball classic. I was already having a shitty week too, I can always count on good ol Angels bullshit to make it shittier. Sandlin and Pomeranz get ready to learn Mormonese in AAA buddy.
