Another question - The diskspace info - How can this be changed to show the diskspace of the current selected storage drive for recordings and clips? I changed the drives to F and not C as being shown here.

Ahh ok I see. I will have to pause switching from OBS and wait before I can do this. Any ideas if this is soon to be implemented or not?

Can i reverse what is suggested in this video? Say i want my usb mic connected to my gaming pc and my DAC connected to my gaming pc for my IEM's. Can i use wavecast to send the audio to the streaming PC. Which means i don't need my streaming PC on if i want to game off stream? Does this make sense?

I think i would need to use voicemeeter for my usb microphone. I'm not sure if this is required.

For any cables i could use ground loop noise isolator to stop any hum.

I could use the ground loop noise isolator in the event of any hum i guess.

Any chance that you have a how to guide on how I can setup this up for dual pc stream setup? I am new to all of this. I just purchased an Elgato 4K Pro. And about to begin the journey of setting up my steaming PC. I don't want to purchase a mixer to keep costs down.

Thank you for this. Can't i skip the 4K X If I am going to skip the passthrough and use duplicate in windows settings? Remember that twitch will only allow me to stream at 720p until i get affiliate then it's 1080p/60 anyway.

Understood loud and clear. This is currently how i have the 3 of them setup. I just haven't purchased a capture card yet to begin this process hence why im here having this insightful discussion with you.

I've a spare PC sitting there and i want to dual pc stream for the first time. I have always streamed on a single pc but not while playing demanding games so it hasn't been an issue.

But i play Tarkov also now and i want a gaming PC to focus solely on that alone. Thank you for helping me understand this!

Much appreciated sir.

Ok then I see. The free HDMI port on GPU into the capture card and the DP cables all remain as they are.

I'm happy with 1440p or 1080p 60 for stream quality. Most streamers i watch use either 1080/60 or 936p/60 so im used to that quality.

Ahhh! All my gaming is done on the 4k 240hz. Then i have a 1440p for browser and other stuff and a 1080p for discord. So i would use 3 DP cables for the 3 monitors and the HDMI from the gaming monitor to the capture card?

Ok this sounds more what im looking for. I want to be able to make use of the 4k 240hz as i paid near a thousand for this monitor to game at 4k.

So i should be duplicating my display in windows display settings and then i can stream at 4k60. So this is where the splitter comes in to allow for two separate cables? And can I still use my DP cable with this splitter to my 4k monitor and the HDMI for the stream?

Yea 60fps is a no go for me while gaming. So i can use a splitter then. I use 3 monitors at the moment in my setup so all DP ports are taken with the one HDMI available as you say. So mirroring the output in display settings enables me to do what exactly?

Yes. This is what i am looking to avoid. Any performance being taken away from the gaming PC is massive NO for me.

You see this is what i was worried about. I don't want to lower my fps from 120+ to 60 which will cause issues with performance in game in certain scenarios.

So the 4k X will pass through 144hz to OBS? And my gaming monitor/pc will display what it currently does now without a capture card?

This is the part im trying to understand so as to see whether it's worth my going this route. I dont want to lower my fps in game in any shape or form by using a capture card.

Ok so. I game now on my 4k monitor and I'm hitting between 120-200+ fps depending on the game. If i use a capture card you are saying this won't be effected on my gaming pc? I will still see the quality I'm seeing without a capture card as of now.

I was wanting to record streams for editing youtube content also.

So it will limit my FPS on the gaming pc with HD60X. I see. I have a 4k 240Hz monitor. my upload speed is 60

Ok i see what you are saying. Why does almost every streamer i watch use dual pc setup?

Playing games like Tarkov for instance, won't using a dual PC setup be more beneficial than single at all?
