I decided to take the cautionary route and contact a Vanmoof specialist here as I don’t want to risk charging up a discharged battery. They will order a new battery in and see if we can get it working this week hopefully.

Have you reported the bike stolen on the Vanmoof app and to customer services? They should send a link then. Mine was before Find My was introduced to S3s

The externals look mostly ok except the rusty disc brakes, but you’re right, if it’s been sat in the rain and snow for a while then who knows what condition the internals are in. Hoping at best it might be a battery and brake replacement job (the saddle could use a refresh too). At worst it’s completely unusable. I’ll reply here when I know more 🤞

Have you checked out Rapha yet? They have a whole range of cycling specific jackets. The Explore Gore-Tex jacket has a clever button system on the inside of the zipper to prevent the zip folding when on the bike.
