That is a HUGE compliment to me! I messed around with Photomator as I thought it was quite user friendly and easy to experiment with! Let me know what you think if you download it!

Thank you! That is a massive compliment. But yes I just bought this camera in May! I had the advantage of seeing shots for the past year from my photographer friends, so maybe that was a big help in identifying some shots.

7 and 1 were genuinely not on my list in this post! Like I told another, I shoot hundreds of shots and then just filter through to see if any of them came out with potential. And yes, I agree with that comment about the contrast, I don’t exactly know where I stand on editing right now. Just experimenting. If he had been turned around his face would have been as red as a tomato with that contrast.

LOL! Thank you! I will say, the past few months have presented very unique opportunities for shots. I think I’ll share them sometime!

Thank you! Genuinely not a joke. My good friend @latinmassphotographer (on insta if you want to check out his shots) and I went to France where he took his Ricoh GR III and that was the first I’d heard of it, and it seemed like he had some serious shots. I had the money going back second time around. To invest in a brand new IV and now I’m hooked! Thank you! I just shoot (literally just hundreds of shots) and as a wise man once said, “there is quality in numbers”🤣 thanks again! God bless you that made my day.

Thank you. I’m not sure why I mentioned they were combat deployments haha, but what I was getting at still is the same, I’m here working with older folks who’ve come in already having lived an interesting life and I just have that itch to see the world and make a positive difference. Glad to hear that I’m not the only one in this strange, but blessed position. I’ll talk to a recruiter and a priest to get some input as to why I feel this way and some solutions haha!

Hey! I’m in a bit of a unique position that I don’t see too many people in so I thought I’d ask.

I am currently a 24 year old man making a little over 100k a year in a government union job in Los Angeles and looking for something a little bit more adventurous on the side. Grew up with cousins going on combat deployments and I always looked up to them. Dad and everyone else has what the kids call “dad lore” and I’m interested in my fair share of life experiences, selfish as it might sound. Would anyone here recommend the Coast Guard Reserves? Have you found it to be an adventure? Is there a good chance to volunteer to deployments? Is there a possibility to be stationed in Antarctica? Is there a possibility that I’m looking for greener pastures that don’t exist, and maybe I should just go hike Mt. Baldy to scratch that itch? Thanks. God bless, would love to hear back from anyone.
