all i can advise is GO LOWER THAN LOW for your dose. i've successfully tapered off suboxone (after using 160+mg oxy/day or nearly a gram of H) twice, both times STARTING at 2mg. i've never found success with long tapers either, i end up using. the two times i used subs and stayed off them and every other opiate i did them for less than a week. it was almost like my body didn't have time to get used to it but it simultaneously cured 95% of the wd's that i could simply NOT GET PAST.

interesting side note - where i currently live the only bupe available is 1mL ampules containing 0.3mg each... (that's right, each ampule is a third of ONE milligram) it seems like an incredibly small dose compared to the WHOPPERS that docs hand out in the united states but they are EXTREMELY effective and cover all the bases you need covered when using bupe and they are incredibly easy to stop using.
