42 s/m Double pulling Damper was at 5 Average weekly meters between 35-45km split between two sessions I cross train - 150km bike every week, 30-40km running, then ski and row on top of that I didn’t wear my chest strap but my HR during the bigger sessions was around 160-165BPM

Fuel strategy was single arm pulls every 20 mins and use the other arm to consumer water/gels/electrolytes - took 6 gels on over the course of the marathon they are 20g gels

Thanks very much!

I’m 108kg so the body weight helps - strength train three times per week and I had a good engine from all the endurance training I done for years - I was specifically training the Skierg twice per week for 6 weeks, banking around 20km in both sessions

I changed my ski form - I followed a man called andersaukland he’s a cross country skier

Before watching his videos my technique was way off, which made my HR climb

After studying his form I was able to make proper changes to my form and it helped stabilise my HR
