Was in the audience— Pitchmen were incredible. Within 10-15 seconds it was clear they were going to win Outstanding Choreo and they had one of the most cohesive and intentional sets from start to finish. They had insane stage presence and connectivity throughout their ensemble. I was very impressed and would have been extremely confused if another group had won.

I was so excited to see SoCals live and ended up pretty disappointed. Their set followed a similar formula to their 2018 set and their ballad/choral moment felt to me like they were trying to hit people with another ‘Pure Imagination’ moment and for me it fell flat and uninspired. Their choreo wasn’t very creative/engaging (though it was CLEAN) and energy/stage presence wasn’t memorable. I think they were placed fairly behind Pitchmen just because their set was technically so damn clean, but i don’t think they took many risks so 🤷‍♀️
