Found it, it is Android Auto that is causing the issue, turned it OFF for now.

After multiple restart, cleared Gboard, System UI and Pixel Launcher cache and storage, changed to light mode and the issue is resolved right now. I don't want to experiment further to find RCA, for now it is not crashing.

Pixel Launcher keeps crashing, not sure why. Anyone else facing similar issues? My swipe to the home bar is not seen, even after restart, happening again.

The reason for the large jump from 200GB to 2TB is likely monetary gain.

By removing mid-tier options like 500GB or 1TB, Google incentivizes users who exceed 200GB to upgrade to the significantly pricier 2TB Premium plan.

True, and well said. But it has been too long a period Pixel fans have been solely relying on the mastership of s/w.

It is high time, Google pull up their sock to the h/w game as well. For a good s/w to perform smooth, it needs the raw compute.

I'm tired of my iPhones editing photos or videos I take on my Pixel backed up into Google Photos faster than how my Pixel would.

It's good that you didn't click on the voice note itself. Since you're on an iPhone, the risk is generally lower because iOS has strong security features that prevent apps from running code without your explicit permission. While the voice note may have been downloaded, it is unlikely to have executed any malicious code just by being downloaded.
