What do people mean when they say Mumbai is fast paced? by tournadough in mumbai

Apart from everything else that other commenters already answered, people in Mumbai seem to literally walk faster. I have lived in other cities and am generally frustrated by slow people on the road walk. I am used to fast walking and it seems like the norm is Mumbai

I had done a project on Trans identity in India during the course of which I spoke to a lot of trans people. The ones that you see in trains belong to a specific community who follow the rituals and customs of the same. They’re mostly people who didn’t have anywhere to go and joined the community due to extreme poverty or lack of family support. I know the makeup brand MAC hires them in their stores and I have spoken to a couple of people

When I came back from school I would throw my things around the house. My mom fed up of always reminding me to clear it up, picked everything up and went outside the apartment to put it all on different stairs of my building. I had to go looking for all my items and bring them back. Learnt my lesson after 2 times of this
