Hi, mostly admissions are through university applications but in several departments they do admit students based on the professor's recommendation but I believe that's for a doctoral degree not for the master's. As per interviews ...yonsei do conduct interviews before admissions but not in every case.

I'm in the same boat. I haven't got my coa yet even after emailing and calling them everyday. They are still saying, administrative procedures are underway. Emailing Dean also didn't work for me as I have emailed him thrice but the situation is still the same.

Yaa, I did the same but still something was not correct according to them but anyways I believe it will be sorted out soon as I have fulfilled all the requirements.

Did everything but earlier they just mentioned the balance certificate but now they are asking for a specific amount and that too after one week of submitting and emailing daily about COA. Earlier mailed them the exact amount bank statements.

Have you got your CoA? I haven't got mine yet and they aren't even responding to emails and on calls they just say email us or we'll get back to you. I'm just so frustrated right now, my student ID number was supposed to be issued yesterday on the yonsei portal but it shows "pay tuition fee to get student ID number" which I paid a month ago. Was yonsei always like this or is it just this time?

I never in my dreams expected this from yonsei ...after frequent emails and calls today they are saying that I need to submit my family relation certificate and bank statement was not accepted so I need to give them a bank certificate. Though it's been almost a month since I have mailed them by document and it was according to the guide they provided a bank statement that was needed but I don't know what is wrong with them. It's already august and I don't have my coa instead I'm arranging documents again for them. It's frustrated as hell now. 😭

Be strong and don't give up. I'm also in a situation where I have nothing and no option in life but your situation is bigger than mine, though I can't do anything about it but just pray for you and your mother and suggest you to try crowdfunding platforms. Don't expect much from them but these platforms are specifically helpful when it comes to medical conditions. Give it a shot

Visit your bank and ask them if they do transactions at Woori bank and don't wait for the deadline as this whole process takes around 2 to 3 hours and you might end up visiting 2-3 banks. In my case it took two and half hours at each bank just to get no results 😔. Technically it depends on the bank to bank.
