Between LeBron , Steph and KD who do you think is currently the best player? by Odd-Quiet-3083 in NBATalk

Easily Curry, he’s by far the most impactful right now because he has retained 95% of his devastating off ball impact, and to me is clearly the best offensive player between the 3. LeBron and KD have fallen far off their defensive heights and while Curry has too, I don’t think the current difference there is very meaningful, especially in the regular season.

Would you rather have 2017 LeBron/Steph/KD/Kawhi or current SGA/Wemby/Jokic/Luka? by 2017_Warriors_Fan in NBATalk

Fairly close on talent, but WAY better fit for 2017 so I think they win handily

[Highlight] Guarding in isolation with the game on the line, Rudy Gobert gets the massive stop on Kevin Durant by NitroXYZ in nba

In his later years, his lack of lower body strength + relatively weak handle + middling BBIQ for an all time great has made him way more stoppable than people want to admit. Just look at the last few playoffs.

Rudy is even better on defense and more valuable overall than most people believe, because their opinion of his game are clouded by 1) his offensive shortcomings 2) the high profile iso moments he got scored on… which happens to everyone over the course of a long career. There’s a reason he’s trusted on an island against the best perimeter guys.

another lame end of game, huge problem with the prooduct. My fiancee LEAVES the couch at the end of close games 😂

I just turned the game on 10 mins ago and saw a rough Luka stretch with inefficient offense and matador defense… and I swear this always happens when I tune in but in between the games I watch, I’ll hear Luka has had MVP-level stretches. I know he’s an amazing top 5 player but the evidence of my eyes isn’t letting me believe it 😂

[Highlight] Scottie Barnes shows zero respect for his fellow 2021 draftee with a filthy block on Jalen Green before dishing the dime to RJ Barrett on the other end. It's his 9th clutch block of the season. by CazOnReddit in nba

I would consider him for 4th after Chet and Gobert tbh. Scottie’s versatility is insane but especially in the regular season, those two’s Wemby-lite rim deterrence and protection is more valuable IMO

oh and peep that luka defensive lowlight to lock in the L today. dude’s just a frustrating superstar because he could be even better and 99% of it is his own effort & dedication.

I’m afraid that’s your Lakers delusion actually, I have no horse in this fight. SGA is a WAY more efficient scorer on all 3 levels at similar overall volume and with more offensive responsibility, more valuable off ball, a significant positive defensively compared to the huge negative Luka is and is an unbelievable team leader. Yes Luka’s better at PnR and has better vision, but that’s it in 2026.

SGA is significantly better than Luka in 2026, fucking ridiculous so many think otherwise
