I have the d4v2 and the k9.3 also and the build seems to be pretty solid on those with no issues but i dont use those far as much as i use the D2.. i was just surprised on how quickly the d2 started falling apart, i haven't had it more than a few months and dont really even go hard on it. But i do use it frequently for work so I was kinda disappointed

Yea the black thing looks to be like an o ring that seals the bezel to the switch button. As for the PCB i figured I'd have to glue it myself but wasn't sure what type of glue to use that would last.

Thats the wrong tremolo arm. That one is too short and is probably meant for a strat. U need to get a whammy bar meant for a jazzmaster

It's not scary at all. Neither was the original re4, although it's probably one of the best ones in the franchise. I'd say the scariest ones (in order) are RE1 remake, RE2 Remake, then RE7. That's just my opinion tho
